Requiem for a Poet

It is with sadness that I post the news of another community loss. Some knew her as Drakara, and others knew her as Darksoul. She passed away November, 26th, 2000. Below is a note from her friend and companion, Alkar:
I was talking with Drakara on the phone last night, about RP and things we had going on in several games when she felt a wave of dizziness, and then quickly another one, after which she went unconcious. They were not able to revive her, and her roommate said she did not have a pulse when they found her (about the same time my call to their house got through.)
I know from her words at that time that she did not feel any pain, and I believe she had a stroke, brought about by complications from her prior surgery. The blessing is she passed quickly and painlessly. The grief is that she was taken from us so soon.
She was truly a blessed soul and I am proud to have been her friend for the past 2 years, and partner in RP with Darksoul here in FW.
I know she was so delighted to have been accepted to become a drow bardess, and she was really looking forward to the ceremony and RP where it would become reality.
My thanks to those who have shared themselves through their RP with her, and enriched her life a great deal. She was delighted to become a part of ToL and was looking forward to RP and fun with the guild.

Testing

Lo all...we will be trying to test both games this weekend. I wanted to give a little update and let you all know we are alive. We will not be testing combat until Thanksgiving weekend however :(

No more Cards for boards

Many of you may have noticed new cards are not getting added to your card list lately. This is why: According to our board guru, Scott H., there will be no more cards.
Not to worry though. There are hints that plans are in the making to convert the cards you already have into something better, or at least do something so that previous card collecting does not go to waste.
Should any of this above information change, I will be sure to let our readers know ASAP.
New areas added to the gazette

Well, the original spell list done for Kevin way back when is back up finally. You can check it out HERE or find the link under the Index column to the right. Spells & Things. Any complaints about this spell list can go directly to Kevin.. I only put them back up by his request.
Also have added the archive area where all the old news goes automatically after a period of time passes. In the archives you will also find a map of the FW "known" world with links embedded in the image itself to three of the areas that are completed. Those areas are Bastille, the Vineyards, and the Harbor.
So far I only have 2 screenshots up, but hope to get more. The links for the 2 screenshots can be found embedded on the Bastille map.
There is a link to the alpha files in the archives as well, and when all the areas of FW are finally complete, I hope to get a zip file up of the maps for downloading.

The archives are now up and running.. "Past Issues" under the index list is the link to what we have in our archives :)
I hope to get more info added to this section, such as screen shots and answers to FAQs. At the moment, links to old posts from all the columns, a temporary FAQ page, the alpha files, and a map of FW are all you will find in this section.
