ALPHA TEST!!

According to the man himself (yep.. ol' Kevin) there will be alpha testing TOMORROW night (not tonight as was first thought.) That's tomorrow, Friday, October 27th, 8pm EASTERN time.

I am presuming we should all meet in the chat on the FW Boards first.

Well... looks like I lost a newsboy and gained one.. such is life when one works for an employer on the darker side *eg*

New column is up and running.. The Twisted Gourmet will bring you entertaining as well as twisted recipes for all those varied palettes.

CHECK THAT EVENT CALENDAR!!!! There's an update for alpha testing already added. I advise all our readers to check the calendar on a daily basis, since alpha testing at this time can be set up with VERY short notice.

And last (but definitely NOT least)... we now have Kevin set up to report his own news whenever he gets the chance!

So y'all keep coming back and reading the Bastille Gazette!
First ransom note!

The news on the whereabouts of BG Newsboy has one person stepping forward to claim the dirty deed. This "Assassin" is asking for the removal of Grud from our humble staff here at the gazette.

This editor does not give in to threats of any kind and until further investigation reveals the truth about what has happened to our delivery boy, we will ignore such attempts to have a columnist removed from the staff.
Where is BG Newsboy?

As of last Thursday, October 12, 2000, BG Newsboy went out on his route and has not been seen since.

Foul play is suspected in the young human's disappearance. He is blonde, fair skinned, and is approximately 14 summers old. When last seen, he was wearing a green windbreaker, black baseball cap, and bluejeans. If anyone has information as to his whereabouts or knowledge of what may have happened, please contact me ASAP.

Medar has given his NWN site a sub domain of its own now! The old link still works, but he would like to see all links to this site changed to reflect the new domain name.

Events Calendar

Be sure to check out the Events Calendar every so often...

Why you ask? Because whenever I hear any rumor or hint of a possible alpha test, I shall add "Alpha Testing?" to those dates. Remember though, this will NOT mean it's a guarantee that testing will be done then. It DOES mean you should try to be online and available in case there is testing.

To find out more about an event listed on the calendar, just click on the number link inside the day's box.

As other events come up, I will also try to add them to the monthly calendar.
More page updates, changes, & additions

Well now, most of the changes can be seen without my posting about them, but I will still list them here :)

  • Added random Guild Crest area with link (for those guilds that have a webpage that is).

  • Finished the "Classifieds" area which is actually a page full of various links and includes all the links for Guilds I could find. I'm sure there are more, so please feel free to email me with any I may have missed. Use the "submit" form though, since this asks for most of the info I need.

  • The Insider (Gossip and Society news) is up and running, and Elspeth covers all that sort of stuff. She's already posted her first article! :)

  • Grud's Crud is also up and running.. and before anyone says..oops, too late, someone already said something LOL. Anyway, he has his own column, so if ya have any complaints or hate mail.. send it all to him.

  • The Editorials section is ready to go with a sub area for letters to the editor (that be ME hehehe). So if you don't want your email published, best to say so in the email.

  • Ms. Crabby's advice column "Ask Crabby" is ready to go as well, and if you have a concern or wish advice, just click on the "Ask Crabby" link at top of her column to send your plea.


    • Maybe the game isn't ready to play yet, but KEEP THE FAITH!! Remember, this is a labor of love.. and sometimes that requires patience and understanding.

    A polling table has been added finally. I have yet to decide if that will change on a regular basis or not.

    Also, the FW Creature image up in the right corner will change with each reload of the page.

    Next: Rotation of various guild crests, past (NWN) and present (FW).
