About the Aes Sedai:

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the realms of Forgotten World. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it was a beginning."

The Aes Sedai is a guild based upon "The Wheel of Time" series by Robert Jordan. For those familiar with the series, our guild offers many familiar character types: Aes Sedai, Gaidin, Asha'man, and Aiel, with the constant possibility of others. Each separate sect comprises an integral part of the guild, which together presents a magnificent role-playing opportunity for all.

The Guild makes every attempt to follow the story line of the books; however, some modifications were necessary for play. One is the inclusion of Asha'man and Aiel in the guild. Another is that the Sitters number seven rather than twenty-one. We are primarily a guild of women and men who are out to lead the world towards the Light, ridding it of the shadow. It should go without saying that our primary objective is to have fun and role-play. As Justice is a major issue of our Guild, the most important thing is to follow the rules of both the game and of the Guild. Common human courtesy, as well, is a prized jewel of the Guild. As long as both are kept in mind, all have fun and no one need be stilled or sent to meet the Creator.
